We rank right near the top in quality of life and so many of those indicators. “This state, rightfully so, has every reason to be incredibly proud of our accomplishments. “It made us look at a reality that was always there, whether we didn’t see it or we didn’t want to see it,” Walz said in an interview with the Pioneer Press in which he reflected on Floyd’s murder and its aftermath a year later. It's a close race, said retired Carleton College political science professor Steven Schier, and he predicted Walz would rather use his cash advantage to spread his campaign message than do debates. "We know the business community would benefit from hearing from the candidates and taking questions. "We were disappointed that we were unable to schedule a forum again this year, but it did not work for the Walz campaign," said Laura Bordelon with the chamber.
